I used 1″ Drunkard’s Path blocks in the wings, and appliqued Drunkard’s Path blocks for the head and chest. Quilted with big stitch hand quilting. Inspired by art by Scott Partridge.

I took the basic drunkard’s path and mirrored it. That gave me a orange peel shape. I cut that orange peel in half. Then I went into the negative space around the orange peel and chopped that up, too. I
Used every color from the challenge. Attempted to make the greens a neutral.Improvisational piecing and quilting.
