Join us for a two-day workshop with the amazing Veruschka Zarate as we create one of her Capturing Memories projects (you may choose any Capturing Memories pattern). In this class with Veruschka you will navigate the foundation paper piecing process working with a variety of techniques to accomplish this pattern. She will guide you through the small, medium and large piecing techniques that will make bringing this project together fun and fabulous. Spending two days getting to know this world-wide quilting artist will be an amazing opportunity you won’t want to miss! We know it will be a great way to extend your skills and you will enjoy learning her techniques. Geared toward those who are new to foundation paper piecing or for those who are wanting a visually impactful yet quick quilt project that can be completed in a couple of days, this quilt series seeks to capture the heart and spirit of destinations from around the world through the use of modern and clean lines. The inspiration behind this quilt series was born out of a desire to design custom patterns for some locations where Veruschka would be teaching foundation paper piecing. The first in the series was debuted for her first class in Phoenix, Arizona for the Modern Quilt Guild’s QUILTCON in 2022. Since then, the series has built up to a total of 9 Patterns that will continue to be released throughout 2024 and 2025.
