As the pandemic changed so much about the world, our guild quickly pivoted and adjusted to the pandemic and kept the activities going by hosting new programs, discussion groups, PJ parties and our general member meetings on zoom. Thank you to everyone who made that possible! We’ve even heard from other guilds in the area asking us for tips on how they can make things happen for their guild. We’re quilt guild pioneers!
To keep that innovative spirit alive and to figure out how members can fully participate in the guild whether in-person or on-line (whatever is best for them) we are launching a Hybrid Model task force. The board has made the decision to not hold virtual meetings for January, February and March. We fully expect that when we do resume gathering in person, we will also work toward having a hybrid/virtual model in place to continue to celebrate the fun, art and creative freedom that unites us and respect the individual choices each of us makes.
