Your upcoming challenge, should you decide to accept it, is to design a minimalist modern mini-quilt. Once you have determined a design, here’s another parameter for your quilt — it’s to be a two-color quilt and one fabric color name must begin with the first letter of your first name, and another color name must begin with the first letter or your last name. For example, my quilt could contain salmon (Sammie) and magenta (Messick). Or how about one with red (Rhonda) and tangerine (Thieme)? A quilted, bound mini-quilt needs to be presented at the September 12 meeting, and the members present will vote for viewers’ choice. That meeting is just a few months away!
