Mary Martin Thomas has been a quilter for most of her life. She counts her first official quilt finished in 1985, a gift for her mother. The next one for her grandmother, and the quilt bug stuck. Between working for the DOD (Department of Defense) and FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) for over 30 years, moving 9 times in 10 years from Missouri to San Diego, Denver and back to Kansas City, she has completed over 320 quilts. She has been a member of KCMQG for several years and values all the friendships she has made here. She plans to show you 50 quilts in her “Quilting A to Z” presentation – because as she says, “There are never enough quilts!” (I bet you all know what the letter K stands for.)
