Design Your Own Applique!
Learn all about Tia Curtis’ design process for appliqué quilts and blocks. In this class you will design your own large scale appliqué block. Tia will show you her techniques for creating her award winning appliqué designs. You can create something more traditional or something quite modern and abstract. The class is broken down into three parts; design, cutting and sewing. This will be a great class to test out ideas and combine both machine piecing with hand appliqué For this class the students will be designing a flower bouquet. The block can be finished as a wall hanging or incorporated into a larger quilt.
