When you use fusing as your primary construction technique no shape or layout is off limits because there are no seams to worry about. In this workshop you’ll explore the infinite possibilities of working with a singular shape and a limited color palette as the primary design elements for your modern art quilts. You’ll make your own version of my award winning Inside Out quilt which is a perfect example of how using simple shapes combined with a minimal amount of color doesn’t necessarily result in a boring quilt. This quilt won 1st place in the appliqué category at Quiltcon 2017 and graces the cover of Sue’s latest book “Modern Art Quilts: Design, Fuse & Quilt-As-You-Go”.
In this half day workshop we will be making a 14” x 36” table runner. If you want to make something larger then you’ll need to adjust the amount of fabric you have on hand.
