Jessica of a little gray has participated in the do. Good Stitches charity bee for the last several years. Her most recent quilt finish for that group is our Inspiration of the week. We love helping the community and this quilt is a beautiful item to give back.

Jessica’s flying geese design was put together in strips. Each participant was asked to make one strip of flying geese, with them all pointed in the same direction, and with the colors in groups instead of mixed up. Jessica took those strips and created the staggered effect above. She quilted in dense lines about 1/2″ apart.

The binding is the dictionary text print from Moda’s Mama Said Sew and the backing is Vintage Modern print (Bonnie & Camille for Moda).
