Could you use an extra $100 in your pocket to support your quilting passion? If so, then you are a candidate for the KCMQG’s grant program. Applications for this year’s second round of funding are due October 10, 2019.
A grant is a monetary award based on the merit of a defined plan of study to learn about something new in the modern quilting world. A unique feature of the program is to share with the guild what you learn. You pick a format most comfortable to you. The idea is to grow our guild’s member skill bank through member education and sharing.
The application and screening process have been streamlined to make access easier. Simply follow the link to the application/FAQs and sample application to help you complete the 1-2 page application which is submitted electronically.
Grants from the available monies will be awarded up to $100 as determined through screening by the Grants committee. All information submitted is confidential; no names are used in the screening process. Simply tell your story about what you want to learn, from who, and why it is important to you and to the guild. Then select a format to “pay it forward” by letting guild members see and hear what you accomplished.
Submit your application to Cheryl Brady at [email protected]. Use the subject line KCMQG Grant to identify the email.
