Friends, our next Swaps & Challenges activity will hopefully be a popular one. Everyone likes a block lotto, right? So please allow me to introduce to you the Crushin’ It Block Lotto!
The Guidelines
There aren’t many because we’ll be doing 10″ square improv blocks using the Kona Color of the Year, Crush, along with black, charcoal grey, and white. There are no design limitations here… just follow the needle and see where it takes you!
Fabric: Blocks must be made of quilt shop quality fabric. Please use white as your background color and Kona Crush, charcoal grey, and black as the accent colors. For the white, grey, and black, prints are fine as long as they “read” white, grey, and black.
Block Size: Please trim your blocks to 10″ square.
How do I play? Bring your completed blocks to the June 2023 KCMQG meeting. Each finished block earns you an entry into the block lotto. You’ll receive a ticket for each block and a random drawing for a group of blocks will be done at the June meeting. The number of groups of blocks will be determined by the overall number of entries. If you win, you’ll take home a stack of finished blocks!
