Time: 6:15 – 9:15 pm
Location: Roeland Park Community Center
Price: $40 members, $50 non-members
Description: Applique can be tedious. It can be daunting. Or it can be fast, easy, and awesome! In this class, Shannon Brinkley teaches the modern and unique raw-edge applique techniques from her new book, Scrappy Bits Applique. Shannon takes you step-by-step through her fun and creative process. Choose your favorite animal! Students can choose from several different animal templates. Shannon will bring printed templates the day of the class. Alternatively, templates can be downloaded and printed prior to class. Visit Shannon’s pattern shop to view template options. At the end of the class, you will have created a beautiful applique and have a tool belt full of all you need to design and create your own “Scrappy Bits” quilts!
