Just a reminder that we will be meeting this month on Thursday, April 16th at the Roeland Park Community Center from 7-9 P.M.

Guest Speaker, Sherri Lynn Wood!  
Sherri will also be teaching two workshops for the guild at the community center.  Improvisational Patchwork Doodling will take place on Friday, April 17th, 9-5.  Get Your Curve On will take place on Saturday, April 18h, 9-5.  Both workshops will take place at the Roeland Park Community Center and cost $110 each. Sherri’s book is NOT required for either class. *Note – if you haven’t paid for your class, please do so before the meeting. Invoices were sent out this week.


As a special treat, we will be selling Sherri’s new book, The Improv Handbook for Modern Quilters at the meeting – three weeks ahead of it’s “official” publication date. We will be selling the book for $25.00 and will be taking cash or check ONLY.

Fractal Radiance Challenge
Make a Fractal Radiance item with solids following a color scheme. A free version of the pillow pattern will be given to participants for free. If you would like to make the small or large quilt, you will need to have purchased the pattern. Finished pieces will be shown in the KCMQG booth at the KCRQF. If you haven’t paid your membership renewal, the April meeting is the deadline. We will start removing members who haven’t renewed for the 2015-2016 year from Facebook and emails on April 25th .
