RETREATS
The Missouri Star Spring Retreat last weekend was a great success! Thank you to the organizers and participants for such a lovely time! Missouri Star treated us well!
WORKSHOPS
Heather Jones will be doing workshops on Friday the 15th and Saturday the 16th. Workshops will be held at the Roeland Park Community Center in Room 6 on both days from 10am until 4:30pm. MEMBERSHIP
We have now entered our 2016-2017 Membership year (April 1, 2016- March 20, 2017). Any members not renewed by April 30th will be inactivated on May 1st. CHALLENGES
The Kansas City Arts Challenge reveal is this week! We will be displaying challenge quilts to be voted on during break and then announced during show and tell.
- Create a quilt inspired by one of the following KC arts venues
- Union Station
- 18th & Vine/Jazz Museum
- WWI Museum/Liberty Memorial
- Nelson Atkins /Kemper Art Museums
- Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts
- Bartle Hall
- There is a maximum of 10 people allowed per venue.
- Measurements of the finished quilt must be:
- Height: 24″ – 60″
- Width: 24″ – 45″
