Shelley of elsie’s girl recently finished an improv challenge baby quilt for her Crystal Lake Modern Quilt Guild. She did a wonderful job with the improv blocks! They are fabulous.

Her sense of symmetry prevented her from setting the improv blocks asymmetrically, but we think the center alignment accentuates the improv blocks perfectly. She quilted with lime green thread in a random, wavy-lined pattern with a few log-cabin-like sections that mimic the improv blocks.

A fun Michael Miller dot makes the back stand out, and a black and white striped binding finishes it off perfectly.
