Ombre colors have been in trend for a while now, and this quilt brings out the best of that trend. Megan of Canoe Ridge Creations created this Ombre Love quilt using ombre cotton solids. Her inspiration sprung from Vanessa’s ombre fabric collection, seen here. Megan cut her ombre strips up into rectangles and split them up with thin strips of white to give it a “paint chip” effect.

Staggered strips gives the quilt a feeling of movement, and the wavy line quilting only contributes to that effect.

The binding fabric comes from the Simply Color line and pairs fabulously with this quilt.
