This week is another entry in the Madrona Road Challenge from earlier this year. Rachel, of Let’s Begin Sewing, was inspired by a cross quilt that she saw on Pinterest. She decided to make a wonky cross version for her challenge quilt.

The white background really sets off her wonky crosses well, and that line of gently curved pieces is a great complement in the negative space. It’s beautifully set.

Rachel tried circular quilting for the first time, and offset her start point to make even more of a statement.
