Jacquie Gering of Tallgrass Prairie Studio is an iconic figure in the modern quilting world and a much missed member of the Kansas City Modern Quilt Guild. Though we lost her to Chicago last year, we are welcoming her back with open arms this Thursday, June 14th, as she travels back to visit us and speak at the guild!

Thursday

Jacquie will talk about her recently published book, Quilting Modern, discuss the book journey from idea to publication and show the quilts from the book to demonstrate the philosophy behind the book. Jacquie will also show a few new pieces and talk about “beyond the book” and what comes next in her work.
